HOLIDAY JOY FOR FOSTER CHILDREN

PASADENA, Calif. The community came together in a big way to bring joy to the foster children and youth of Rosemary Children’s Services during the Holiday season. Local companies and groups like Comerica Bank, Luther Burbank Savings, Pasadena Fire Department, 3M, Charles W. Mason & Associates, Women in Networking Los Angeles, Vince’s Auto, Apple One, Avery, Friends of Foster Children, Parsons, as well as, Azusa Canyon Off-Road Association (A.C.O.R.A.), The Solanos, and all other affiliated off road teams held toy drives and collections for the holidays.

Rosemary Children’s Services’ very own Bonnie Guild, Romberger Guild, Cottage Guild, 500 Guild and Green Guilds held holiday parties for the teen foster girls residing in our residential treatment group homes throughout Pasadena and South Pasadena. The Guilds provided decorations, a holiday meal, holiday games and gifts for the teen foster girls.

A.C.O.R.A. sponsored the Annual Foster Family Agency Holiday Party. They provided games and gifts for the over 150 children and families in attendance.

“We are so grateful and fortunate to have such dedicated community partners and volunteers,” said Greg Wessels, Executive Director of Rosemary Children’s Services. “Toy Drives and sponsored events like this not only provide gifts for our youth, but also raise awareness about the programs and services offered by Rosemary Children’s Services.”

Rosemary Children’s Services would like to thank our community for its generosity in 2012!
